Who I Am
I am Eleni Barron, an artist fascinated by what lies beneath the surface.
Through painting, sculpture, stitched materials, and masks, I explore identity, memory, emotion, and the invisible experiences that shape our lives. My work is built through layers—just as people are built through layers of experiences, hopes, fears, and dreams.
Rather than offering answers, my work invites questions: Who are we beneath the roles we play? How do our struggles shape us? What remains when we allow ourselves to be seen?
Every piece is part of an ongoing conversation about being human—about vulnerability, resilience, compassion, and the constant process of becoming.

Eleni Barron: The artist behind 'who do you think I am'
I am an artist based in Nicosia, Cyprus. Although Cyprus is my home, I was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and arrived in Cyprus in 1974. My journey, experiences, and personal history have shaped both who I am and the work I create.
My work is deeply emotional, exploring both the struggles and the beauty of the human experience. For me, art is more than something beautiful to look at-it is a way to communicate, connect ,and make sense of life's challenges. Through my work, I hope to create understanding, reflection,and a shared sense of humanity.
